FAQs:

What is the price of nutrition counseling?

  • 2 Session Starter Bundle: $375

  • 8 Session Starter Bundle: $1,100

  • 12 Session Starter Bundle: $1,580

Each starter bundle includes one complete nutrition, lifestyle, and health assessment (60-minute session); the remaining are 40-minute follow-up sessions. Additional sessions are $145 (package discounts available)

What is included when I purchase a nutrition counseling package?

  • 1:1 virtual session, completely custom to your needs.

  • Custom recommendations and advice you can trust.

  • Private chat support for in-between sessions, as needed for questions, check-ins, etc.

  • 15% off professional-grade supplements upon my honest evaluation and recommendation.

  • Optional lab assessment and, at an additional cost, functional lab testing opportunities (DUTCH, metabolomix+, and more).

  • Education materials, handouts, food and lifestyle journals, tracking tools, etc.

  • Custom recipe booklets and meal planning support.

Do you offer just single consultation sessions?

No, I require at least two sessions (the assessment session and a follow-up session) for all clients.  In my experience, recommendations and follow-through are most successful when we meet multiple times, and I recommend most clients commit to at least 3 months of follow-ups.

Will I get calorie and macro recommendations?

This depends on the your needs and goals.  Counting and tracking calories and macros is not the only way to make nutrition changes, and is not always the most supportive intervention.  I make recommendations based on the client's preferences and most people actually find relief by learning alternate ways to balance their diet.

Are workout programs included in your nutrition plans?

Depending on the client's goals and needs, I may make workout recommendations, suggestions, and goals. If you would like a fully comprehensive, and custom workout program, this is a personal training service and requires an additional fee.  Please contact me for more info.

What is a Certified Nutrition Specialist?

A certified nutrition specialist, or CNS, is an advanced clinical nutritionist specializing in personalized, evidence-based nutrition.  A CNS has a Master's level degree in nutrition, has passed a rigorous board exam, completed 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience, and has approval from the Board of Certified Nutrition Specialists and The American Nutrition Association.  A CNS is among the highest of credentialed nutritionist professionals.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes. I partner with Open Path, Healing Arts Collective, to offer reduced rates to those in need of financial assistance.  *All financial assistance clients must verify their financial needs through Open Path.  Please contact me for more info and to inquire about my current financial aid availability.

Do you accept Insurance?

No.  I do not accept insurance and do not provide superbills. I can offer interest-free payment plans if needed.
